Prof. Beebe received a BS in Zoology, Ohio Univ., Athens (1970); was a Peace Corps Volunteer (British West Indies, 1973-1975) before receiving a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences (Pharmacology), Medical College of Ohio (1982, now Toledo University School of Medicine. He was Post-Doctoral Fellow / Associate at Howard Hugh Medical Institute, Dept Molecular Physiology and Biophysics, Vanderbilt (1982-1986); a Fulbright and Marshal Scholar, Oslo (1986-1988); Assistant (Gynecology), Associate (Pediatric / Physiological Sciences), Professor, Eastern Virginia Medical School (1989-2007); and now a Professor in the Center for Bioelectrics, Old Dominion University (ODU), Norfolk, VA. According to a Stanford study, he was included in the top 2% of most cited scientists in his field worldwide over the last 3 years. He is a member of Sigma Xi

Dr. Slimane Belbraouet received his Ph.D. at the Center of Human Nutrition from the Université de Nancy (France) in 1994. Professor Belbraouet started his academic career in 1980 at the Université de Sidi Bel abbes (Algeria) and is currently a full professor in the School of Nutrition at the Université de Moncton (Canada) teaching both undergraduate and graduate levels in nutrition.

He is internationally recognized for his research expertise in food science, the promotion of healthy eating (nutrition of the elderly, ethnicity, and obesity), and the etiology of diseases related to nutrition (nutrition and cancer; obesity and risk factors).

Ana Grilo is a PhD in Psychology speciality in Health Psychology. She is a Full Professor of Psychology at Lisbon School of Health Technology, Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, Portugal, lecturing in Health Psychology and Health Communication. She is the Subdirector of exact, life, social and human sciences Department, and a member of the Council of Representatives at Lisbon School of Health Technology. Member of Europsy Psychologist and Specialist in Clinical and Health Psychology by the Portuguese Order of Psychologists. Member of the scientific board of the Portuguese Society for Clinical Communication in Health Care and member of the Research Center for Psychological Science (CICPsi), Faculty of Psychology, University of Lisbon. She has authored several publications in various scientific journals.

Her publications reflect research interests in patient-centred engagement and health communication.

Dr. Koustav Sarkar is working as a Research Assistant Professor in SRM Research Institute and associated with the Department of Biotechnology at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University), since April 2016. His research focuses on explicating the molecular underpinnings of immune dysregulation and cancer immunology immunotherapy. My research focuses on explicating the molecular underpinnings of immune dysregulation and interrelated immunotherapy for Lung Cancer & Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Lung Cancer & Coronary Artery Disease (CAD).
